Looking for a black PS2 Keyboard with blue LED keys

You know, the kind that has the characters lit up in blue. Anyone know where I can find just a simple keyboard like this? I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. I need PS2 because I use a KVM, and USB has a habit of losing the connection when switching between machines. Once I find one of these I'd like to find a nice black PS2 mouse, too. I've seen several combo packages, but I never seem to like the mouse it comes with, so I figure it's best I buy them seperately.

Something simple, like this. Nothing fancy...just typical black PS2 keyboard with blue lit key characters. This one looks like it may be a little too bright (I don't want something so bright it's going to keep me awake at night), and I'd rather have straight PS2, than use a PS2/USB adapter, since that almost doesn't fit on my KVM. It sticks out too far and makes it kind of awkward on the KVM.

From what I can find, it looks like that's the closest I'm going to get to what I'm looking for. Why do they always overlight them, or make them too fancy?

Well, the lights can be turned off on this one anyway. I didn't really want the whole key to light up, but if it can be turned off it might not be so bad.

This one looks cool, but they want a fortune for it.

Mike I am using this oneon my full tower system. Its a usb but I use an adaptor like this on both mouse and k/board.I think it was either 30 or 40 dollars but is a real nice board.Very soft touch and no clicking sounds.Mine is silver but I`m sure they make em in black.Just an idea from me.

Yeah, that's a little too bright for me. That's why I want just the letters lit up. I suppose I'll have to use another adapter, since it's getting damn hard to find any that aren't USB. Anyone know where to find a dongle type PS2/USB adapter? The problem is, side by side on the KVM, it's going to be pretty tight to fit two of them, and my mouse is already using one adapter.

gets an old keyboard & uses flourescent paint for the keys & offers to sell for cheap..

I still ain't got why you want one like that so bad??

I've never had one like that & only saw the "wow" factor in it, is there a reason you want one like that so much? (ain't being a smartass, just not sure why)

Well, because it would match the general scheme of my system...all black with blue LED's here and there.

Hey SG I think the one I linked too the backround lighting is adjustable or you can turn it off also.I`ll screw around with mine and see if it is.Its not really that bright even in a dark room. What kind of KB you have to trade?I`d send this one to you to try if you want.

I agree, that at adapter is pushing on the video plug pretty hard as it is. I don't think it could handle a second one either.

I just used some old PS2 extension cable I have. That solves that problem. They're just really close on the KVM. Can't seem to find another adapter though. I guess I'll have to go buy one somewhere.
