Save and restore the BIOS settings. Validate actual settings to saved settings. Delete the BIOS settings. Display information about the bios, bios extensions and bios beepcodes. Find bios passwords for Award, Ami, Phoenix and AST BIOS. Find bios universal passwords for Award BIOS. Dump the whole bios segment to disk. Switch the 1st and 2nd level caches on/off. Turn the pc into suspend or stand. By mode (requires apm 1.1+). Turn off the pc (requires apm 1.2+). Reboot the PC (cold/warm/int19)

Modbin/Modbin6 - is used to modify the Award Modular bios.
It can be used to modify the setup screen of your bios, giving you the opportunity to unhide options which the motherboard manufacturer has hidden.
The acpi option for instance can be modded here.
Just run: modbin6.exe biosfile.bin or modbin6.exe or just check this picture. I use modbin6 version 1.00.38 for my mods.
This program works under DOS & Win9x.
WARNING, using a floppy won't work since it doesn't have enough room for the temporary files.

Biosview - can be used to view/test a biosfile, NOT the current bios in your computer.
Can be used to take screenshots of your bios, if you want to share some settings with other people. Doesn't work with the newer bios versions out there. It worked for Abit KT7 and KA7, but not Abit KG7, Iwill and Epox. Just run: biosview.exe biosfile.bin or biosview.exe or just check this picture. This program works under DOS & WinALL.
